Bruce and Allie may be taking a morning walk through the UCSC Arboretum either Wednesday, March 12th or Friday, March 14th to escape Wedding stress. Friends and Family welcome! This is an easy walk as most trails are flat and several are considered wheelchair accessible. The Arboretum does have a small $10 fee for parking, though there is a large parking area. Please let us know if you would like to join!
Quail Hallow is a family favorite hiking spot! Allie's mother, Bethany, participates in the nest box observation group here. Trails are moderate to difficult but can have amazing views of the San Lorenzo Valley.
West Cliff Drive used to be a favorite cliff-side walk area for Bruce and Allie. After the extreme storms in 2023 large sections of this road were blocked from vehicle access due to the safety risk of the road being partially washed away. This area is still and easy walk and fully paved with beautiful cliff-side views of the ocean. A fun area to explore the morning of the wedding, March 13th, especially due to how close this area is to the venue.
Family friendly and home of one of the oldest wooden roller coasters! There should be very short lines in March for those seeking an amusement park experience while in town.
Fun Local Bowling. Allie Used to deliver Marianne's Ice Cream here! Formerly favorite meeting spot for the Security team Allie and Bruce were on with friend Kieffer.
Our most favorite Pool Hall! Much quieter and pool focused bar located in Capitola. Any (21+) friends and family looking to shoot some pool, we recommend to make the drive out to here instead of to the limited college bars in Downtown Santa Cruz.
