What date should I RSVP by?

Answer

Thank you in advance for sending your RSVP before Friday October 31st, 2025. Simply RSVP on this website under the RSVP tab.

Question

When should I book the hotel? Is there a minimum night stay requirement?

Answer

Haven Rivera is an all-inclusive resort. We recommend booking as soon as possible if you are planning to come as rates and night minimums are subject to change. Destify requires a $150 deposit to secure your booking. Remaining payments are flexible for your convenience and the full payment is required 65 days prior to the wedding (2/24/26). The current minimum stay is 3 nights--we recommend Thursday 4/30, Friday 5/1, and Saturday 5/2.

Which airport should we fly into? Will there be a shuttle to/from the hotel/airport?

Answer

Guests are responsible for booking their own flight and shuttle service. The Cancun International Airport is ~15-20 minutes from the resort. Shared or private roundtrip shuttles to/from the airport are available to add when reserving your room. (You can also add the shuttle to your reservation any time after you secure your booking)

Who do I contact regarding questions on my reservation– Destify or the resort?

Answer

Destify will be your primary contact for general questions for guests. This includes everything pertaining to any reservations made through Destify.

Passports!

Answer

Don't forget your passport! Please double check your passport expiration date as you will not be permitted to travel 6 months prior to the passport expiration date. Passports take up to 3 months to arrive so please update or apply for a passport as soon as possible. https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/passports.html/

Will the ceremony and/or reception be indoors/ outdoors? What will the weather be like?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will be held outdoors weather permitting. The average temperature during this time of year is 72-89 degrees Fahrenheit.

Are there other wedding related events that I can attend?

Answer

All guests are invited to the Welcome Dinner on 4/30, as well as the optional pool/beach day on Saturday 5/2. More details to come on the itinerary tab as we approach the RSVP deadline.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Unfortunately, we have a strict guest list to stay on budget. Our celebration is strictly RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your wedding invitation.

Are kids allowed?

Answer

While we love your little ones, the wedding is being held at an adults-only resort so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.

Where are you registered for wedding gifts? // Should I bring a gift?

Answer

We are so grateful for the effort you’ll be making to join us for our destination wedding. So please, no gifts! Your presence at our celebration is the greatest gift of all, and we can't wait to celebrate with you!
