St. Armands Circle
St. Armands Circle is a collection of shops and restaurants located on a small island right outside of Sarasota. Some of our favorite spots include Speaks Clam Bar for home made pasta, Blu Kouzina for delicious Greek food and Kilwins for ice cream and sweet treats.
Downtown Sarasota
Some of our favorite restaurants are located in Downtown Sarasota. If you’re looking for excellent seafood and incredible ambiance, check out Owen’s Fish Camp (but plan on a wait because they don’t take reservations). Kojo is our go to spot for sushi and Asian fusion. For dessert, Main Street Creamery has the best ice cream in town (tip: ask for your ice cream churned to give it a soft serve consistency).
Siesta Key
Siesta Key is our favorite beach in the area by far. Spend a day on the white sand beach and then head over to Siesta Key Village for shopping and dining in a small beach town.

Sarasota’s most popular shopping mall with 150+ stores and restaurants.
Mote Science Education Aquarium (SEA)
The new Mote Aquarium, located right next to UTC mall, just opened in October 2025.
