We’re getting married!

March 21st, 2024 This was the day that God introduced Brayden and Allie to one another. Brayden had just found out about Christ the King, the Catholic Church on LSU’s campus. He was invited to a community night by some classmates and he really didn’t know what to expect. Full of anxiousness, nerves, and curiosity, he made his way into the activity center. Community night started with conversation with people around the tables and dinner. As everyone settled down with their meals, Allie stood up out of the crowd of about 70 people and made her way to the podium at the front of the room. At this point, Allie had been building a beautiful relationship with the Lord and on this night she was going to share with everyone what that meant to her! The two were about as far apart as they could’ve been in the room. What an amazing way to be introduced, before Brayden could even see Allie, he heard her heart. As soon as he could, after hearing her testimony, Brayden went up to her to share with her how amazing her story was. Allie ended up taking him on a tour of the church. After they made their way through the classrooms, library, and student lounge, they made it to the exit. Brayden didn’t ask for her number, didn’t tell her he wanted to see her again, oh no, instead he made the best move he could. He opened his arms and gave this girl he just met the BIGGEST hug possible. Smooth. October 12th, 2024 This night led into a friendship that was built on God, and it wasn’t until October 12th, 2024 that Brayden asked Allie to be his girlfriend. 7 months later… What were you waiting for man?! Anyways, this relationship has taught them both so much, how to love one another with a Christ like love, being #1. January 3rd, 2026 Brayden decided that he wanted to love Allie that way, forever, on January 3rd, 2026. This was the day he proposed and the day she said YES to marrying her best friend and the man with the biggest heart for God that she knows. It is such a wonderful gift to be able to share our story and also be able to share this love with each and every one of you. We can’t wait for you to be a part of our special day on January 2nd 2027!
