Question

What should I do if I can’t make it?

Answer

You will be dearly missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP "no", so that we can plan accordingly. Thank you! (There will also be a livestream available to watch on Ashland Avenue Baptist’s YouTube channel for those unable to attend)

Question

Having trouble RSVP-ing?

Answer

Try typing in just either persons name. (Sometimes it only lets the main name on each invite rsvp) if you’re having trouble please let me know :) I can always submit your rsvp for you

Question

Where are you registered?

Answer

Just in case it’s not easy to find on our website we are registered at Zola and Target.

Question

Guests and Plus ones.

Answer

While we would love to celebrate with as many friends and family as possible, due to limited space and budget, we are only able to accommodate those whose names are listed on the invitation.

Question

Parking

Answer

There is a parking lot and street parking at Ashland but it is limited so please plan accordingly. And there is plenty of parking at Norlyn Manor.

Question

Can I bring kids?

Answer

While we love your little ones, we have decided to keep our wedding and reception an adults-only event. We hope you understand and can enjoy a night out!

Question

What kind of food will there be?

Answer

As there is a little time (and a drive) between the ceremony and reception we will have a few snacks set out at Ashland for you to eat before heading over to the reception which will have a buffet style meal.

Question

Drinks?

Answer

As you all know, we both have very strong beliefs about alcohol and therefore do not wish to have any at our wedding reception and we ask that you please respect our wishes for our big day. We will have plenty of soda, tea, water and coffee for you to enjoy!

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

We would love to see our family and friends get dressed up with us! We are requesting a semi-formal dress code for our evening. Wear whatever color you like, but please, do not wear white.

Question

Photos?

Answer

We are having an "unplugged" ceremony. This just means we are asking that all phones and devices be put away and on silent/turned off during the ceremony. Why? Well, we've hired a professional to capture some of the most important moments of our lives, and we'd hate to have a well-meaning person's phone blocking that moment for them to capture. After the ceremony, feel free to take as many photos as you want! And we promise to share the ceremony photos as soon as we get them!
