FAQs

Question

Wedding venue address and time?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will be held at West Milford Farm 7938 Ball Ground Rd, Cumming, GA 30028 at 4:30pm.

Question

How can I RSVP?

Answer

Once you receive your formal invitation, you can RSVP through our website. If you have any difficulty, please feel free to reach out to the wedding couple at 678-215-1948 so that we can RSVP for you.

Question

Will the ceremony & reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

We personally love the outdoors and hope to enjoy the fresh air and farm grounds as much as possible during our wedding day, so long as weather permits. The Ceremony will be held outside under a pavilion. In the case of severe weather, the ceremony may be moved inside the reception space. The reception will be held in a beautiful partially enclosed, open air building. If temperatures are too hot for comfort, or heavy rains are present, the reception space can be closed off to become a fully indoor building.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

We would like for our guests to feel comfortable and elegant in whatever attire they choose as we come together for a celebration of love! We recommend semi-formal to smart casual attire. For the ladies, cocktail dresses, classy separates, jumpsuits, or sundresses would be wonderful! For the gentlemen, please feel free to wear a suit, button-down shirt or polo and slacks. Prepare for temperatures of 80 during the day and 70 after sunset. The parking areas are graveled, and there might be times that you want to step out onto the lawn, so keep in mind that if you prefer not to kick off your heels, a pair of flats might serve you best! We kindly ask that you avoid colors traditionally reserved for the bride such as whites, ivories, and cream.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to a limited guest count, we are unable to accommodate plus ones except for those specifically indicated on your wedding invitation envelope. All of our lovely guests will be explicitly named on the envelopes, or named as "The (your last name) Family". When you go to RSVP, you will be able to see the exact number of people you can RSVP for. As the wedding date gets closer and we have a more accurate number of RSVPs, please feel free to reach out to the wedding couple to see if we are able to accommodate those not named on your envelope.

Question

Are kids allowed?

Answer

For our beloved guests with younger children, we have happily included them in our guest count. We adore your little ones and would love for them to be a part of our special day! For this reason, their names will be listed on your formal invitation envelope and/or you will have the ability to RSVP for them. The venue requests that children be accompanied by an adult at all times, and due to a limited number of children attending, there will not be a sitter at the wedding. Please feel free to bring any of your child's favorite activities to help them enjoy the evening as much as we will!

Question

What will seating be like?

Answer

The ceremony will be open seating, so please sit wherever you'd like! Please allow for the immediate family to have the first few rows of seating which will be labeled as reserved. For the reception, we will thoughtfully assign seating so our guests can be sat with those they personally know such as their partners, families, and friends.

Question

What kind of food will be served?

Answer

We love some good eating, so rest assured there will be plenty of delicious options to choose from! We decided to pay homage to our southern roots by offering a wide selection of BBQ fixins and a garden salad. There will also be appetizers available during cocktail hour, so come ready to eat! For our gluten free guests, we understand you likely know what foods work best for you, and there will be plenty of options to choose from. However If you have any questions or allergies you would like us to be aware of, please don't hesitate to reach out.

Question

Will alcohol be served?

Answer

Yes! The venue does not allow for guests to bring their own alcohol such as in flasks or tailgating in the parking lot, however we will be providing alcohol to all of our guests at no expense to you. If you do plan on drinking throughout the evening and don't have a designated driver, we kindly ask that you sort out your transportation plans ahead of time. Should you need to leave your car parked at the venue overnight, all cars must be picked up by 10:30am the morning after the wedding.

Question

Can we take our own pictures & Videos throughout the day?

Answer

Of course you may take as many pictures and videos as you'd like before and after the ceremony! Once the ceremony begins, we ask that you put away and silence your cellphones until you make your way to cocktail hour. We want to encourage an environment of being present in the moment as our loved ones witness such an intimate and significant day in our lives. We have amazing photographers that will capture this precious time in the most beautiful way, and I will be happy to share all of the photos with everyone.

For all the days along the way
