What is California Formal?

Answer

Formal with a coastal twist! For men: tailored suits, tuxedos optional. For women: elegant jumpsuits, floor-length or chic midi dresses. We encourage you to play with color, design and modern silhouettes. This is an evening celebration at a San Diego resort. Have fun with it, stay classy, and dress to impress! What this is NOT: beach casual (shirt and shoes required, no shorts)

Are children invited?

Answer

Nope! While we love your little ones, our wedding will be an adults-only affair. The only exceptions will be our nieces and nephews (children in the wedding). However, if you are traveling with children, the Hyatt recommends a nanny service called Munchkin Minders - they work with the resort all the time and will come to you at the hotel. Question

Will you be adding more to your registry?

Answer

Yes! We know it’s slim pickings on there right now, and we will be adding items soon. However, the best gift you can get us would be a contribution to one of our funds! We don’t have a lot of room for new things right now, and the funds will help us move into an appropriately sized home for two humans (or send us on our honeymoon!). But if you prefer to give a physical gift, check back in a few weeks :)
