With Edina's proximity to Minneapolis, there is plenty of things to do in the area! The Galleria and Southdale Mall are two shopping malls within walking distance of both hotels. Southdale Mall was actually the FIRST ever indoor mall! If you're looking for more shopping, the Mall of America and 50th and France are just a short car ride away.
Local Eating
All of these recommendations are very close to each hotel! Smack Shack - his favorite is a beer and the Connecticut style lobster roll; her favorite is the gin and tonic on tap and the peel and eat shrimp CoV - his favorite is the Port Tack Old Fashioned and the Bolognese; her favorite is the Pink Lady and the CoV Roll Ciao Bella - his favorite is a glass of Red Wine and the Chicken Parmigiana; her favorite is a glass of Petite Syrah and the Chicken and Wild Mushroom Risotto
Adventurous Eating
Billy Sushi - located in the North Loop of Minneapolis, this is one of our favorite restaurants! We aways get the Po Boi to start and an assortment of sushi, it never disappoints! Red Cow - near Billy Sushi in the North Loop, the cheese curds are a MUST! best burger place in the city Martina - located in Uptown, this is an Argentine/Italian restaurant that we love. A great blend of foods! Punch Pizza - a local "chain" of Neapolitan pizza.... Allie cannot get enough!
Site Seeing
Looking to kill some time? These are some MN gems: Paisley Park - Prince's private home and production complex, located not too far from the hotels. They do guided tours of the building which now features a museum. You'll need to book tickets in advance, which can be found on their website. Minneapolis Sculpture Garden - located in the heart of Minneapolis, a picture-perfect sculpture garden with the quintessential Cherry in the Spoon. Minnehaha Falls - a beautiful waterfall and park located downtown, this waterfall leads into the Mississippi River!
