If you’re looking for something fun to do while you're in town, the Texas State Fair is a great option! Besides being the biggest state fair in the country, between the fried food, the rides, and the giant Ferris wheel, there's plenty to check out. Just a heads up, though — that Saturday is game day at the Cotton Bowl, so it’ll be pretty packed around the fairgrounds.
