Hotel
The Shelton Courtyard by Marriot is holding 30+ rooms for our event at $114 per night + tax. The shuttle will pick up and drop off here. You have the option of calling reservations at 1-203-929-1500 and asking for "MBWS McDermott-Bewick Wedding" group rate or by using the online link: https://www.marriott.com/events/start.mi?id=1646414809549&key=GRP. If using the Marriott website, you can go to www.marriott.com/bdrcy which will bring you directly to our page. Once in the page, you can enter the dates you are looking to book. It is important that you make any special rooming preferences (i.e. cribs, wheelchair accessible, King, Queen/Queen, etc.) at time of booking so that the property is prepared for your arrival. Our group room rate is available until May 24th, 2022, at which time they will release any unsold rooms for sale to the general public.
Shuttle

A shuttle will be provided from the Shelton Courtyard by Marriott to the McDermott's house before, during, and after the reception. Pre-Ceremony- 4:00pm picks up guests, departs from the hotel at 4:10pm, and arrives at the McDermott's at 4:30pm 4:50pm picks up guests, departs from the hotel at 5:00pm, and arrives at the McDermott's at 5:20pm End of the night - The shuttle will leave the McDermott's house on the hour 4 times during the reception: 9:00pm, 10:00pm, 11:00pm , 12:00am
Flight
For international flights - John F Kennedy Airport (JFK) and LaGuardia Airport (LGA) will likely have direct flights and be the easiest and cheapest options. For domestic flights - Westchester County, NY (HPN) and Bradley International Airport (BDL) are slightly closer and less hectic options. A rental car would be optimal as Monroe, CT doesn't have much public transportation, but there are possible public transport options from Grand Central Station in NYC (not directly from the airport) if needed.
