While we love your little ones, we can only extend invitations to children under one (1) years old for the Celebratory Dinner, as we only have enough seating for the adults listed on the invitation. There will only be enough space for baby carriers in the venue. However, we will have 1-3 babysitters (depending of number of children that require care) so we ask that you please note in your RSVP if you will be needing childcare while at dinner. We will provide references for the sitters for those who request—Please text or email with further questions! Children are welcome to attend the Casual Ring & Vow exchange.
We have a strict guest list to stay on budget. Both events are RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.
We ask that you please do not have your phone out at all during the Ring & Vow Exchange. There will be a photographer taking photos during the ceremony. After the ceremony (and during dinner) please feel free to take as many photos/videos as you would like—we would love if you would tag the photos with: #NewKirklandsOnTheBlock so that we may keep up with all your photos on social media!!
After the Ring & Vow Exchange, we will all head to pavilion area for a very small cake and champagne reception. Then, Allie and Andre will be taking photos with family & friends. Guests may reference the “Things-To-Do” tab on our website for fun activity ideas in between the ceremony and celebratory dinner.
We request returning the RSVP as soon as possible for planning purposes, however, the set deadline isn’t until February 7, 2020.
You will be missed! However, please keep in mind there are two events, the Ring & Vow Exchange at the nature preserve and the Celebratory Dinner at Lucy’s. If you cannot make one, please don’t let that stop you from attending the other event, if that works better for you schedule! That being said, we understand that traveling to Auburn for the weekend may be difficult to swing. If you can’t make it, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “will not be attending” to either one, or both, events.
The dress code is casual dressy/semiformal for both the Ring & Vow Exchange as well as the Celebratory Dinner. For example, Andre is wearing khakis and a sports coat, and Allie will be wearing a jumpsuit and a dress.
Historically, the temperatures are on average a high of 62-70 degrees during the day with a low of 38-44 degrees in the evening.
