When Should I RSVP By?

Answer

We can't wait to celebrate with you! As we are busy planning our special day, we ask that you kindly respond by May 1st, 2026. Please use the ‘RSVP’ tab on this website to submit if you will be attending or if you cannot make it.

Where will the Events Take Place?

Answer

Our entire wedding celebration will take place at 6940 Jacks Road - As this is Allie's family home, please utilize street parking if necessary, as there will be no driveway parking available. Please note, if you have been to Marla & Earl's home previously, they have recently moved - Follow the address above, so you are able to make it to the right place!

Can I bring a plus one?

To ensure we can accommodate all of our closest family and friends, only those named on your invitation are included - Thank you for understanding!

What Time Should I Arrive at the Ceremony?

Answer

As our ceremony will begin at 4:00pm, we kindly ask that you arrive between 3:00pm & 3:30pm to get settled and enjoy a refreshment before the proceedings.

Are you Registered? Where?

Answer

We are so lucky to already have everything we need for our home! Instead of a traditional registry, we have set up a honeymoon fund, if you would like to contribute to our first adventure as a married couple. Your presence is truly the greatest gift, but we will have a secure box at the reception, if you do wish to bring something for the bride & groom.

Is There a Dress Code?

Answer

While we do not have a strict dress code, we ask that all guests dress within our 'Garden Party Formal' theme. Think fun colours, floral prints, suits in lighter hues, etc. We are reserving black for our wedding parties, so please refrain from wearing this colour. (Men may wear black, but some added colour would be appreciated!) Please visit our 'What to Wear' tab on our website for further information.

Do You Have Any Hotel Recommendations?

Answer

I have listed a few options below for hotels or alternate accommodation options that are within close proximity to our venue - As there are limited options, we recommend booking in advance! Northgate Best Western - Located in North Nanaimo, 10 minutes from our home. Airbnb - There are plenty of Airbnb's located in Lantzville, as well as North Nanaimo. If you need any assistance booking an accommodation, please feel free to reach out to us.

Will there be alcohol?

Answer

We’ll be serving our signature cocktails on the house during the first part of the evening, along with some wine for dinner. After that, the bar will transition to a toonie bar. Cash contributions are appreciated and will go toward keeping the celebrations going!

Can I take photos?

Answer

We will be having an ‘unplugged’ ceremony, so ask that no phones or cameras be out during this. We hope that all of our closest family and friends can enjoy being present while we say ‘I Do’. We have hired a lovely photographer who will be capturing this moment for us, and we will share our photos as we receive them! After the ceremony, please feel free to take as many photos & videos as you would like!
