FAQ's

The Wedding Website of Allie Guardia and Adrian Flores
Question

When To Arrive?

Answer

If possible, we recommend staying 1-2 weeks in Costa Rica so you have time to explore the beautiful parts of our country outside of San Jose. If that's not possible, we recommend arriving a few days before the wedding. Please note, we will be planning pre-wedding group activities a few days before the wedding you can opt into (activities TBD - ex: River Rafting, Hikes, Coffee Tour, etc.)

Question

Outdoor or indoor?

Answer

The ceremony will be held outside while the reception will be indoors (with air conditioning). Please note January is Summer in Costa Rica. You can expect sunny days (77°F/ 66°F or 25∘C/ 18.88 °C) with a breeze. Our venue is in an elevated location, so please note it may be chilly during the ceremony.

Question

What to wear?

Answer

Our wedding is formal attire (suit and long dress) The ceremony will be in a grassy spot, so beware of very pointy heels. Dancing shoes are always welcome for the party!

Question

How do I get to the wedding?

Answer

Uber is a great option for San Jose and is safe and reliable. For those of you renting a car, we recommend Waze to get around.

Question

What time to arrive?

Answer

Please arrive promptly at the venue at 3:30pm

Question

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

Please refer to your invite and RSVP for those on your invite. Our ceremony and dinner/reception is kid-friendly, but we kindly ask the adults to stay and dance the night away if possible. If you are interested in care for your children at the reception, please contact Allie and Adrian.

Question

Food allergy?

Answer

Please mark within your invitation and we will cater to your needs.
