Parking in New York City

If you're planning to drive into New York City and park for the weekend, we highly recommend booking a spot in advance with SpotHero or Icon Parking (both have iPhone apps). Booking in advance will be cheaper than the drive up rate. Please reach out to us if you have any questions about parking in NYC or the parking apps.

Getting around NYC

The best way (and cheapest) to get around NYC is the Subway. Google maps is great at telling you which subway to take to wherever you want to go. Although many people think New Yorkers are rude, there are many who are kind enough to help you out when you're trying to figure out where to go :) Many subway station have an MTA worker who can also let you know what train and uptown/downtown to get where you need to go. Of course, Uber and Lyft is available or yellow NYC taxis. Do not get into any unmarked cars (other than your Uber/Lyft) saying they are cabs. They are cabs, but they will charge you an arm and a leg.
