We are holding a significantly smaller event at a new venue. The venue itself is a ranch—lots of open spaces for cocktails and the ceremony, and a well-ventilated barn for dinner and dancing. We are asking all guests to be vaccinated and boosted (if they are eligible). We will monitor local health ordinances as the event gets closer, and plan to follow that guidance to keep everyone safe. If masking or same-day testing is needed we will be in touch. And of course, if you feel more comfortable wearing a mask please do. We support that wholeheartedly!
We recommend looking for a place to stay in one of these towns: Tomales, Marshall, Dillon Beach, Valley Ford, Bodega Bay, or Petaluma. We will run shuttles to/from Dillon Beach and Bodega Bay. If you don't mind a slightly longer drive home, you can also look into: Point Reyes Station, Inverness, and Olema.
Tomales Bay is coastal, and the weather can quickly change from a warm Spring day to a cool and misty evening. Fog and even light rain are possibilities, but not expected due to ongoing drought conditions in California. We recommend wearing layers, and keeping a warm coat with you.
Stemple Creek Ranch is a sustainable and regeneratively operated farm which raises beef and lamb. They are extremely cognizant of drought conditions and work to restore the natural health of their surrounding environment. We strongly believe in their mission to farm this region in a manner that allows for a natural balance to return to their land and the health of their animals. It's our pleasure to be serving their meats as well as local cheese, wine, beer and fresh oysters from a bay - not but fifteen minutes away! We hope you enjoy!
