Wedding Party

We are excited to share our special day with all of our people! Here, you will find pictures and stories of the wonderful friends and family who will be walking down the aisle with us!

Frank Krivanek

Father of the Bride

From the very beginning I've always been daddy's little girl. From daddy daughter dances to T-ball practices. Bracelet making to mowing the lawn. Little girl to grown up adult the lessons my dad has taught me have helped shape me into the person I am today. While princess may not be the appearance I posses, I will always look at my dad as my Knight in shinning armor, and there isn't anyone else I can imagine walking me down that isle and giving me away to the next beautiful chapter of my life.

Chris Scott

Father of the Bride

"My dad is the best! He has taught me strength, integrity, resilience and has been the voice of reason through so many difficult moments in my life. What I appreciate the most about him, though, is his humor. Anyone that knows my dad, knows that he's hilarious and full of sarcasm. So much sarcasm. And he has absolutely contributed to how funny I am." - Quote from Morgan (bride)

Teri Alexander

Matron of Honor

When I think about my maid of honor I think about a person who embodies so many things. My steady place in a world that doesn’t always feel steady. A person who has seen every version of me—the messy, the growing, the hurting, and the thriving—and never once chose to walk away. A person that can be the voice that reminds me who I am when I doubt my worth. My comfort I can run to without thinking, and the quiet strength behind so many of the hardships I have made it through. A maid of honor must be love in its most consistent form—not always perfect, not always easy, but always real. Someone who taught me how to care, how to fight for what matters, and how to keep going when things get heavy. Whether she’s cheering me on, worrying about me, or just sitting beside me, her presence has shaped more of my life than words can fully capture. There is no one else that embodies these qualities more than my mom:)

McKenzie Loughman

Matron of Honor

McKenzie and Morgan have been best friends since the first day of 5th grade. They sat next to each other at lunch where Morgan whipped out her tried and true, a peanut butter sandwich, and nearly sent Mckenzie into anaphylaxis. Today, they've been through everything together. Graduations, moves, breakups, career shifts, motherhood (mothering children & dogs) and everything in between. They have remained a strong and steady presence in each other's lives and have created 20 years of a deeply cherished friendship.

Danielle Witherow

Bridesmaid

I’m not sure how I made it through 30 years of life without her, but I do know why God brought her into my life. If you ask her, she’ll say, “I didn’t do anything,” but the truth is—she’s done everything. D is the laughter in the stock room on my hardest days, the gym partner who somehow understands my crazy workout tendencies, the surprise energy drink hiding in my locker that lights me up like a kid at Disney and the early morning text of encouragement when no one else remembers. But most of all, she’s one of the most important people I could have standing beside me as I marry the love of my life.

Alyssa Cartwright

Matron of Honor

Alyssa and Morgan met at their Alma Mater, the University of Central Florida! They quickly became best friends and spent [nearly] every waking moment of college together. It was four great years of taking the same classes, studying together, volunteering at the same clinics, crying over failed tests, coffee shop dates and scream-singing Sam Smith at the top of their lungs every time they were in the same car. Fun fact: Guess what Alyssa's initial feelings were towards Morgan when they first met! Hint: She hated her.

Jennifer Griggs

Bridesmaid

There’s always that one friend who keeps you accountable, gives you the guidance and hard push in the direction you need, yet somehow does it all with a beautiful love and grace. For me, that person is Griggs. Having her on my team is like having a cheerleader, a bodyguard, and a full-time comedian all in one. Over the past three years she has helped carry me through some of the hardest seasons of my life. She has been the shoulder to cry on and the laughter to keep my spirits up. My wedding day crew wouldn't be anywhere near complete without her.

Chelsea Schafer

Bridesmaid

Chelsea and Morgan met through their past positions at Levine Children's Hospital. Although neither of them still practice in the specialty where they first met, their friendship has remained! They have gotten to experience so many things together over the years, but the foundation of their friendship was built on yoga at the Whitewater Center and their shared goal of trying every espresso martini in Charlotte.

Karlee Fryman

Bridesmaid

While nursing school may have brought us together, her steady and unwavering presence is what’s kept us close. Distance has never really been on our side, but I truly believe some bonds are simply unbreakable. No matter the miles or the moment, the celebration or the heartbreak she shows up when it matters most. She will always be my yang, and I will always be her grey!

Kelly Ford

Bridesmaid

Kelly and Morgan were vertical neighbors when Morgan first moved to Charlotte, Kelly on the second floor and Morgan on the third. Their meet-cute began when Morgan spilled dirt from a potted plant through the wood planks of her deck, directly onto the outdoor furniture on Kelly's deck. Morgan's anxiety wouldn't let her move on without writing a "Sorry!" note and taping it to Kelly's door. After a few more notes back and forth, numbers were shared and friendships were made. Kelly has been such a steady presence in Morgan's life over the years! Their favorite bestie pastime is taking long walks at Little Sugar Creek Greenway where they gossip, share life updates, complain, celebrate and everything in between!

Heather

Bridesmaid

Starting out as college roommates, I never could have imagined the impact Heather would have on my life. Getting to watch her become the incredible person she is today through all the chapters of life has been one of the biggest honors. Her faith and compassion continually inspire me to be a better daughter, wife, and mom. She truly is the world’s best sounding board, and someone I cant imagine not having by my side on my big day!

Alexandra Malissen

Bridesmaid

Alexandra and Morgan met in PA school at Wake Forest in 2020! They initially connected over the exceedingly stressful and difficult program, but it quickly became clear that they had much more in common! They are both gloriously overloaded with emotions and bonded over their shared overwhelm with the hard, ugly, beautiful, happy and heartbreaking nature of being human. They talk deeply and inquisitively about life and all it brings, which has brought them close over the years! Having each other has made every wonderful thing feel better and all of the not-so-wonderful things feel a little more manageable.
