Wedding Party

Clarissa Vangorkom

Maid of Honor

When I met Clarissa there was something that has always just clicked with our personalities. She is the kind of friend that I didn’t grow up with since diapers, but helped me become who I am in my adult life. If you know Clarissa, you know she’s cares deeply for her people & I am so lucky that I get to be one of them. I have had endless memories and fun with her, so come to the wedding and see what she’s all about. No elevated surface is safe. 😉💕

Tarynn Nieuwsma

Matron of Honor

Tarynn, brown sugar, dora— my ole reliable girl. I have always cherished the friendship we have grown. From high school sports, to college softball, and living together to watching her become an awesome mom, wife and teacher. She’s been someone I can always count on. If you’re looking for good stories about me, she was right there next to me for most of them.

Kara Kalberer

Matron of Honor

If you know Tarynn, then you probably already know all about Kara, because there is a reason when you put them together they become “Karen.” Along with Tarynn, Kara has been one of my closest girls since high school. Living with those two in college truly changed my life. Kara has always been there to put me in my place. You can find Kara and I making any game into the most competitive & aggressive matchup making you wonder if we really are friends. Competition is our love language, I love that she gets me. 🤣💕 She’s the kind of girl that makes you stronger in your faith & loves her people fiercely. I’m so lucky to have her in my corner.

Brooke Sanford

Bridesmaid

Brooke and I went to school together, but it wasn’t until we both found our way back home that our friendship truly blossomed. What followed were a couple of unforgettable summers... inseparable, and enjoying life on a whim. Brooke has never hesitated to travel across the state just to spend time together, always showing up for me.

Kylee Hanson

Bridesmaid

Kylee is my longest friend—by my side since preschool. While we couldn’t be more different, that contrast has made our friendship so special. I’ve spent most of my life dragging her to parties and events she swore were a bad idea, yet she always came along anyway, helping turn them into unforgettable memories. Kylee is grounded, calm, and steady in a way I’ve always admired, and she has been one of my biggest supporters through every season of life.

Sara Anderson

Bridesmaid

Sara came into my life shortly after Justin, and from the very beginning it was clear how much she and her family mean to him. Once I got to know them, I quickly felt the same. Sara is one of the sweetest, most caring people I have ever known—always putting others before herself. The ways she has shown up for Justin mean more than I can ever express, and she is truly the person you want in your corner. I have treasured the many nights spent at their home catching up, playing with their little girls, and growing a relationship I’ve been so grateful for since moving here. Sara truly feels like family.

Cortney Beattie

Bridesmaid

Cortney is married to Justin’s best friend, and I knew early on that if I wanted to be part of Justin’s life, I’d need to be friends with her—but that couldn’t have come more easily. She is someone who’s instantly easy to talk to and even easier to become friends with. Cortney has also taken on the task of teaching me how to do something I swore I never would—learn to golf. She and Beau mean so much to us, and we’re incredibly lucky to also call them our neighbors. I can already see many late nights in our future. Cortney has been by Justin and Beau’s side as they grew up, and I’m so grateful to now call someone who means so much to him a friend.

Alissa Heinze

Bridesmaid

Alissa, Justin’s older sister, is a strong, confident, and independent woman I admire so much. We share a love for game nights and lovingly making fun of her brothers—one of my favorite pastimes. She is the planner, organizer, and glue that keeps everyone together, all while being an absolute blast to be around. Always up for an adventure, Alissa brings so much fun and heart into every moment. I feel incredibly lucky to be gaining her not just as a sister-in-law, but as a lifelong friend, and I can’t wait to make many more memories together.

Teagan Perkins

Junior Bridesmaid

Our junior bridesmaid, Teagan, is growing into the sweetest, most fun-loving girl, and we feel so lucky to be part of her journey. She brings so much joy and laughter wherever she goes, and we couldn’t imagine our big day without her by our side. We love her so much and are so excited to watch her continue to grow, make memories, and shine in everything she does. Having Teagan as part of our wedding means the world to us.

Beau Beattie

Best Man

Beau has been my best friend since diapers, we’ve been through it all together. The highs, the lows, and everything in between. We grew up side by side, wrecked a lot of vehicles, wasted a lot of gas, and have tons of crazy stories. He’s the kind of guy who shows up no matter what—no questions asked, no hesitation. We now live just two miles away from each other which gets me roped into even more adventures helping Beau on the farm. He’s loyal to the core, tough as they come, and willing to do absolutely anything for the people he cares about. There was never a doubt that we’d be each other’s best man on our special days.

Landon Hanson

Groomsman

Landon- As the youngest and absolute menace of the family, Landon has never met a rule, vehicle, or budget he couldn’t test to its breaking point. He’s a younger version of myself and is my go to guy when I’m in need of help with anything at all. If there’s a coyote to chase or something that probably shouldn’t be done, Landon is already involved. Around the farm he’s invaluable—handy and always willing to work until it’s done… or broken. He may be hard on vehicles, 4 wheelers, and bank accounts, but he’s rock-solid when it counts. One phone call and he’s there, no questions, no hesitation. Chaos follows him, but so does loyalty, and I wouldn’t have this day without him in the lineup.

Bradley Clemens

Groomsman

Brad- Brad is an absolute wild man and always the life of the party. If there’s a story being told, chances are Brad was right in the middle of it—and usually the reason it happened. We’ve shared more than our fair share of late nights and unforgettable (and occasionally questionable) quests that turned into some of my favorite memories. He brings energy, laughter, and chaos wherever he goes. If you’re wondering which one is Brad on wedding day, he’ll be the one with his shirt off on the dance floor.

Teylor Hanson

Groomsman

Teylor- Being the middle brother, he’s always been the steady one—the quiet constant our family could count on and mom’s biggest butt kisser. He has the biggest heart of anyone I know and would drop anything to help someone who needs it. He gives his time, his effort, and his kindness without ever asking for recognition. He’s taught me a lot about what it means to be selfless, dependable, and genuinely good. I’m incredibly proud to call him my brother, and having him standing beside me on this day means more than I can put into words.

Trevor Anderson

Groomsman

Trevor- Trevor has always been like an older brother to me—someone I’ve looked up to both on the football field and in life. He leads by example and gives his full effort in everything he does, never doing anything halfway or cutting corners. Trevor, his wife Sara, and their two girls have been incredibly important to me, and their support has meant more than they know. Having Trevor standing beside me on this day is truly an honor.

Dwight McMillan

Groomsman

Dwight has been a close friend for the past few years, brought together by a shared love of agriculture that has turned into daily phone calls. He’s a family man in the truest sense, and that’s something I genuinely look up to and respect. His perspective, advice, and friendship have meant a lot to me, and I’m grateful to have him standing beside me on this day.

Jordan Svenningson

Groomsman

Jordan is another friend I’ve grown close to through countless phone calls that usually take place multiple times a day. Most of our talks revolve around farming, cattle, and whatever problem we’re trying to solve next. We’ve shared plenty of drinks, several road trips, and a lot of good memories along the way. He’s someone I trust and enjoy doing life with, and I’m glad to have him standing beside me on this day.

Conner Eberle

Groomsman

Conner has been a lifelong friend and someone who’s always been steady and reliable. He enjoys cattle, farming, and staying in the gym, and brings that same discipline into everything he does. We like to give Conner a hard time for having the biggest muscles, but really we’re all just jealous. I’m glad to have him and his muscles standing beside me on this day.

Bud Cruff

Usher

I first met Bud when he coached me—and a few of the guys standing up here today—on the football field. What started as a coach quickly turned into a lifelong friend, and we’ve stayed close ever since. He’s someone who was there for me during some tough times, and that meant more than he’ll ever know. We’ve shared plenty of drinks, late nights, and good conversations, and I’m grateful to have him helping out and standing with us on this day.

Willy Marler

Usher

Willy and I share a mutual love for cattle, farming, and staying up far later than we probably should. We’ve had hundreds of beers together and just as many late nights that usually ended with trouble—or at least a good story. He’s the kind of friend who makes hard work more fun and good times even better.

Heather Bernhardt

Personal Attendant

I met Heather in high school, along with the Linton crew that brought so much fun into my life. After graduation, we even lived in the same apartment building at NDSU and continued making memories together. Heather has always been the one to give it to me straight — never afraid to tell me how it is and always seeming to know what’s best for me. She and her husband, Austin, have been such amazing friends to me over the years, and I love them both so much.

Jayden Hodges

Personal Attendant

Jayden became a close friend of mine during college and quickly got roped in with the Watford City crew — fitting right in from the start. She spent countless weekends driving from Bismarck to stay with me at NDSU and experience college life in Fargo, creating so many priceless memories along the way. She still loves reminding me of those times through Snapchat memories, and I wouldn’t have it any other way. Jayden is such a fun, loyal person to have in your corner, and I truly cherish our friendship.

Lea Arndt

Personal Attendant

From kindergarten through senior year, Lea and I were practically inseparable. She has always had a gift for putting a smile on anyone’s face, and so many of my favorite memories include her. Lea has been by my side through it all, and she holds a truly special place in my heart. I’m so grateful to have her standing with me on such an important day.
