After being good friends in high school, Hayden went to MSU Billings and Alli to Whitworth in Spokane. They found their way back to each other in 2016 while playing an online trivia game. Their first official date was a 1 on 1 basketball game in an elementary school parking lot while listening to music for hours. Although their romantic connection was instant, the 550 mile distance made a relationship difficult. They spent the remainder of college single but that didn't mean every second wasn't spent together when Alli was home for holidays and breaks. After 3 long years, they made it official after graduating from college. They spent 4 years in Billings growing stronger together. Alli fell in love with golf, and Hayden became a dog dad! Wanting a lifestyle and career change, they eventually moved down to Austin, TX in 2024. Navigating a new city without friends or family, they grew even closer, finding happiness in just the two of them. 3 days before taking a vacation to St. Lucia in April, Hayden googled "jewelry stores on the way to the dentist." Luckily he found Alli's perfect ring and in her size before the trip. At a candlelight dinner on the beach, he got down on a knee and proposed - somehow as a complete shock to Alli!
