Check out this 0.5-mile loop trail near Wailuku, Maui. Generally considered an easy route, it takes an average of 17 min to complete. This is a very popular area for hiking and walking, so you'll likely encounter other people while exploring. The trail is open year-round and is beautiful to visit anytime. This paved path has stunning views of the surrounding mountains. There is also a stream flowing along the path at several points with some small cascades. There is an observation point of Iao Needle with an interpretive sign in place for visitors to read. The short loop is more wooded and along the river.
