Semi-Formal
What Is Semi Formal?
Part of dressing for a semi-formal, or dressy casual, wedding is paying close attention to when the ceremony will take place. For daytime events, light hues and airy fabrics are preferred. Acceptable outfits include below-the-knee dresses, or an elegant pantsuit (styled with heels, nice wedges, or formal flats). Alternatively, a long-sleeved dress shirt and slacks. Styling with a tie is encouraged but not required.
