Alli and I met working in the hospital our first year of residency. Our medical passion and patient centered care ignited a spark and after a few weeks, we became quick friends. Her compassion and kindness took me by surprise. We went out to dinner for pizza in November 2022 (commonly referred to as the first date if you've heard Alli's side of the story). Shortly after, we walked through the snowy Cleveland Zoo lights during our first official date. We knew we had something special and have been inseparable ever since!

With Aaron's career taking him to a new city, we were planning on long distance and a long engagement through his fellowship. We browsed engagement rings in early December 2024. Sitting in the car that night after we left the jeweler, Aaron turned to me in the car and said “Alli I love you and I don’t want to live without you. I don't want to do long distance. Will you come to Cincinnati with me?" So, we started planning for our wedding in June slowly telling our friends and family our plans. On February 14, 2024, Aaron officially proposed in the comfort of his apartment with flowers and tea-light candles!
