Kendall and I have been best friends our entire lives and grew up going to church and camp together. We were inseparable at camp, often being mistaken for sisters, and I rarely even talked to anyone else until one year in high school when she drug me along to go play soccer with this group of guys so I could eventually talk to Andrew. She has always stuck by my side and encouraged me to be bold when I've needed to be. Since then we've survived being roommates at college and even going on an international missions trip together. Kendall is loving, dependable, and is always willing to go the extra mile to help others. I'm pretty sure we decided that we would be each other's maids of honor as soon as we learned what one was in the first place and I couldn't ask for a better one.
Katie Watanabe

Katie and I met during my Junior year of college when I moved into a new apartment so Kendall and I could be roommates. We were both pretty shy at first, but now it feels like we've been friends forever. Katie is passionate in how she loves, shares, and listens. She pushes me out of my comfort zone by making me eat lots of fruits and other foods as well as encouraging me to be more creative and try new things. We've had many late night conversations sharing our hopes and dreams about our futures. I'm grateful for all of the mini adventures we've been on and how she makes the world around her more beautiful (through her personality and her art).
Morgan Thompson
Bridesmaid
I met Morgan through camp and then got to know her more when I started going to youth group with Andrew. We've been on ten hour van rides to youth conference, staffed several years of camp together, and been on lots of spontaneous adventures in the process. Morgan is strong, servant-hearted, and always willing to support her friends, even when that means going wildly outside of her comfort zone or inconveniencing herself in the process. She has a way of knowing just what needs to be taken care of and doing it quietly (and will definitely tell you to get over it if you try to protest against her kindness). Although we haven't had the chance to be roommates officially, she is definitely an honorary roommate at our apartment.
Cary-Grace James

Cary Grace is Andrew’s sister, but we were actually friends before Andrew and I started dating. She was one of the cool older girls at camp that I tried to hang out with and she even came to at least one of my birthday parties (which obviously made me feel super cool). Since Andrew and I started dating, Cary Grace has always been there to give solid advice about everything whether it’s college, life in general, or now even wedding planning. She is kind, caring, and extremely thoughtful and I am so grateful for all of the ways she has encouraged Andrew and I. I’m also super excited to be able to start calling her my sister!
Ben Rodkey
Best Man
Ben and I met in kindergarten where we were cubby-buddies. Through years of rec T-ball and soccer, as well as VBS, youth group, and too-short summers at Camp Tuk-A-Way we have been through it all. He is a hard working man who loves Jesus and serves Him well in his ministry with youth. Ben is one of the smartest guys that I know, and he is constantly dependable; both as a friend and for a good laugh. He consistently surprises me with the way he genuinely cares for people, and how thoughtful he is. We might not share a cubby any more, but he is for sure still my buddy.
Ryan Hentschel
Best Man
Ryan and I grew up together at church where we did quite an excellent job annoying the old folks (our parents). From flooding the women's bathroom to subverting our children's church Christmas play by starting a lightsaber fight, we've always seemed to find our way into trouble. Ryan is known for always being the best at whatever game we play, and beating him in anything is a rare brag that we hold on to for years. Most importantly though, Ryan is a caring man and a solid friend. Also I beat him in like three games of 21 when we were in high-school.
Ethan Cooper

Ethan and I met when I started dating his sister while I was in high-school. He is easily one of the funniest people I know, and definitely the best Super Smash Bros player I've met. One of my favorite memories with him is when he, Allison, and I spent several nights staying up way too late to build a Boba Fett helmet for his school's spirit week. Ethan is one of my favorite guys to hang out with and I look up to him immensely for how he chooses to be himself around those he is comfortable with. We have had some pretty cool experiences together and I am looking forward to more. Ethan is an intelligent and kind guy who I am very glad to soon call my brother.
Josh James
Groomsman
Josh met my sister a couple years ago and somehow earned her respect enough that she agreed to date him. Cary-Grace is a Godly woman who cares for others deeply and she has never met someone who could compliment her so well as Josh. Josh is kind, loving, and the perfect other half for Cary-Grace. The more that I see and learn about him, the more impressed that I am. I am thrilled to have him on stage with Allison and I on June 12th and I am happy knowing that he is the man my sister married.
