How do I get to the reception from the ceremony?

Answer

If you want to get there quickly, I would take I-94 west to exit 6. If you want a more scenic route, take Red Arrow Highway.

What if I have food allergies or dietary restrictions?

Will there be a hotel block?

There are many hotels and Airbnbs nearby that are affordable. If you need any recommendations, please reach out!

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

At the ceremony location we have 23 reserved spots, so please travel in groups if possible. At the reception venue there are plenty of parking spaces.

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be outdoors. At the reception venue, we will have an indoor and outdoor portion of the restaurant blocked off and separated from the public. In the event of inclement weather, we will have the indoor portion of the restaurant.

What kind of food will be served?

There will be many different appetizers, handhelds, and some sweets. A little something for everyone.

Are there Ubers near the reception venue?

Answer

Our reception is in a quiet beach town and there are no Ubers nearby. I have linked the local taxi service on the travel page.

Nope! Sit wherever you want at the ceremony and reception.

What is there to do nearby?

Answer

Southwest Michigan is full of things to do in the summer. We are known for our wineries, beautiful beaches, and parks. On the Things to Do page, I have listed some places we enjoy visiting in this area.

Will there be beverages?

Answer

Yes, we will have a cash bar at the reception. Soda and water are free.
