What will the weather be like/what should I pack?

Answer

Great question! October in Colorado is a bit unpredictable- that’s why we love it! We could have a mid-60’s sunny day or chilly with the first snowfall of the season. We recommend bringing lots of layers so you are prepared for anything! And don’t forget the sunscreen and chapstick! Please also note that Evergreen is a bit higher in elevation and tends to have colder temperatures compared to Denver. We highly recommend bringing a water bottle, electrolytes, and if needed there are many local stores that sell Boost Oxygen Canisters (also available on Amazon).

What is the dress code?

We’d love to say “whatever you want,” but at the risk of that being taken too literally, anything in the casual wedding attire, cocktail attire, or formal attire range is just fine ☺️

Is the wedding outside?

Answer

Weather permitting, the ceremony and cocktail hour will take place outside on the back porch overlooking the lake. The reception will be inside the lake house, though the wrap-around porch will be available throughout the night! If inclement weather occurs, the ceremony will be inside the lake house.

This is an adults-only event, unless otherwise specified on your invitation.
