We have a room block at Sofitel Los Angeles at Beverly Hills and The W Hotel West Beverly Hills. The Sofitel will have most of the guests if you feel you want to stay with the group. We also recommend The Beverly Hilton. Please note: Hotels online may look close to venue mileage wise however our lovely LA traffic will slow you down and 5 miles will take you 30 min. We have also included air bnb options in the Travel section of our website. *** Note, please let us know where you will be staying.
Black tie optional, formal. Most ladies are wearing long dresses. Please bring a shawl, it’s California and will get chilly at night.
The ceremony and the reception will be outdoors. The ceremony will be in the formal garden estate lawn, wear shoes accordingly (avoid possibly sinking in the ground). The reception will be in the inner courtyard of the estate. *** Please note, there is a Welcome Cocktail Hour preceding ceremony at 4pm in the formal garden. The Bride, Groom and Bridal party will not be present however this gives the guest a moment to relax and enjoy mingling with the other guests before the wedding.
Los Angeles is warm during the day and cooler in the evenings. A shawl, wrap or jacket is highly encouraged for later in the evening. It’s hard to anticipate the weather during the day in September. Be prepared for warm weather during the ceremony and a cooler reception.
Traffic. An Uber or if you would like more freedom, a rental car is suggested to travel around town. We suggest avoiding the metro.
Please refer to your formal mailed invitation for venue information and address. We will not be publicly sharing this information. We do not want Owen Wilson or Vince Vaughn crashing our wedding (Wedding Crashers joke for ya). Although this would be cool so maybe we do indeed want them to crash. This is LA, someone call their agent.
We will have an informal welcome gathering around 8pm on Friday night. If you have traveled and would like to see us and others in town for the wedding, we would love to see you. This is not a hosted or official event however a place and time to give hugs and a cheers before our big day. Please do not feel obligated to stop by. We want you to enjoy your vacation and sightseeing. David and I are grandparents so put us down for a 8-9:00pm-ish appearance. I have Dateline to watch in bed and I guess I’m getting married the next day so there’s that. Details to come.

We LOVE children however we are keeping the children to family and a few close family friends traveling that are coming to the wedding and making it a family vacation (Disney). Please inquire with Ashley should you have questions/ to fill her in on your plan if we need to chat kids.
A very LA question. If you’re not from Los Angeles this is a very important question that is asked daily by LA residents. Yes, there will be ample parking at the venue.
It is encouraged to not fight the beat and join us on the dance floor during the reception. If you need to tap a foot during the ceremony to warm up, we understand.
