Maid of Honor

My name is Rebecca Allen and I am Rachel’s older sister! I would say I would probably win the contest of who has known Rachel the longest (other than our parents, of course). Some of my favorite memories with Rachel include watching all of the Harry Potter movies in one week, putting on costumes to play “dress up” while performing various 5-star performances as a kid, hanging out while she is in college, finding her wedding dress, and so many more! I am so excited to celebrate Rachel and Steven on their big day!

Maid of Honor

Hello, my name is Jessica Allen and I am one of Rachel’s Maid of Honors. Rachel has been in my life for about 18 years. Rachel has changed my diapers, but also done my makeup for prom. Some of my favorite things to do with Rachel is to take up her whole bed when taking a nap, cut her hair, read with her, clean my room together, ask her about every single outfit I put on, and get coffee. I enjoy when rachel lives at home so that I can spend all of my free time with her, but when she would be away at college or in San Diego, I would enjoy the very many long, and pretty useless FaceTime calls. I’ve known Steven for many years, and have loved watching them grow together. So excited to share this amazing day with you all!

Bridesmaid

Hi! My name is Amanda Speicher. Rachel and I became best friends in college. We have shared many wonderful memories including late night study sessions, Saturday coffee dates, and retail therapy at TJ Maxx. Many people ask if we are related. We aren’t, but sometimes it feels like we are long-lost siblings. Two of my favorite memories with Rachel are forcing Rachel into doing college marching band color guard even though she had never done it before. I just didn’t want to be lonely :) (but she enjoyed it so it’s ok). My other favorite memory is when Rachel distracted me the night before and morning-of my Senior Recital so that I wouldn’t freak out. So excited to celebrate Rachel and Steven with you!

Heyyy my name is Anja and I am one of Rachel’s bridesmaids. I have known Rachel my entire life (she literally was there the day I was born). She’s my godsister and my neighbor. Some of my favorite things to do with Rachel include watching The Kardashians, going shopping, and baking. My favorite memory with Rachel is when Rachel, Jessie, and I sang the National anthem for all the neighbors during one of our many quarantine walks. I am so excited for this new chapter in Rachel and Steven’s lives!

Best Man

Hello! I’m Benjamin Bowater. I spent a lot of time procrastinating on what to put down for this. I have so much to say that no matter what I say it wouldn’t feel quite like enough. Steve was the first real and true friend I made when I moved to the area back in elementary and we have been close ever since. A constant safe person who always had my back and I always knew was someone I could count on when I needed a friend. Some of my favorite memories with Steve are actually from when we were in high school Men’s Choir together at different events or going out to eat bar food all over town. Imagine my surprise when Steve started dating one of my other oldest friends, Rachel. I am so excited to celebrate the love between these two wonderful people with everyone at the wedding.

My name is Nick Johnson and I have been a friend of Steven since highschool. I first met Steven in Scouting as we were in the same cub scout pack, and later the same scout troop. I remember being kids on New Years and having to go upstairs so the adults could play their card game. Steven and I later played trombone together in the Paw Paw P.R.I.D.E Marching/Concert Band. Some of my favorite memories with him include us encouraging and pushing eachother into having a good time. I look forward to celebrating Rachel and Steven on this special day.
