Growing up and attempting to date, I always heard “you’ll never find the one when you’re looking for them. They’ll come to you when you least expect it.” I was always skeptical and constantly searching for that one person to complete me. I knew I never needed someone to make me happy but I always wanted that person to add to my happiness and challenge me to be my best self. Meeting Amanda when I really least expected it, has truly met every expectation (even the unrealistic ones I had set) and some expectations I didn’t even know a person could deliver. She has offered me a sense of safety and security and has introduced me to a whole new definition of trust and love. Every day since May 16th of 2022, I’ve gotten to live my life with the best partner and friend I could’ve ever wished for. She truly has been the best thing in my life and I am so grateful to have this opportunity to become her wife. -Emmy

Michael
Man of Honor
Michael is Emmy’s little cousin and growing up has taken on the role of little brother and best friend. Michael brings a special sense of goofiness and strength for both brides. While Emmy and he grew up together and truly grown so close in the past 10 years, he has formed an additional and strong bond now with Amanda. We are so grateful to have him in our lives and sharing our daily adventures with him so this huge milestone will be one for the books. For as young as he is, he is so wise beyond his years and we are looking forward to have him standing by our sides to truly cherish our big day as a family.
Morgan
Bridesmaid
Morgan and Emmy first met in middle school when they attended Progress Village Middle Magnet School of the Arts. They both were active in the theatre department and now after a decade of friendship, they have built a long life of memories that will always be cherished and sometimes comical to reminisce. Even after Emmy had moved out of state, they stayed connected and had weekly phone calls to make sure they were caught up on each others lives. So many wonderful moments have been remembered and documented when they could, so it was a no brainer when choosing to have Morgan participate in the wedding festivities. “She has always been there through all of the good and the equivalent bad. She truly knows me and still chooses to intentionally put effort and love into our friendship consistently. While planning this wedding and looking forward to the big day, I couldn’t imagine not having her presence by my side to celebrate with.” -Emmy
Heather
Bridesmaid
Heather is one of the first people that truly embraced and supported Emmy as she moved into the Charlotte NC area. She was looked up to as a sister, a friend, a role model and a confidant. Heather met Amanda on one of her many trips up to visit Emmy and they instantly connected over places and food all around Miami as Heather and Amanda both have spent time living there. When Emmy and Amanda started dating, Heather was over the moon and the biggest cheerleader for our happiness. We have made sure to reconnect as often as our schedules have allowed and we enjoy every second shared with Heather. Her adventurous and loving spirit will be exuberantly embraced during our wedding and we can’t wait to share how wonderful she is with all of our friends and family.
Debbie

Debbie has grown into our chosen family and we couldn’t be more happy with all that she adds to our lives. She has been driven in her actions to always be there to support Emmy. Between being present for weekly dinner trips to the OG Beef O’Brady’s in Brandon FL to driving hours to go listen to Scottish bands perform in St Augustine. Debbie has been there to drive us in her big truck and provide lots of laughs and giggles along the way. “Time with Debbie is never short of an adventure and has always felt so comfortable. She truly is part of my forever family and I couldn’t imagine checking this major milestone off of our list without her by my side. She brings me so much happiness and unconditional love and I can’t wait to share our future with her.” -Emmy
Myranda

Myranda is one of the kindest and most beautiful souls. I am so fortunate to have met Myranda through her partner Michael and our friend Morgan. During the end of 2020, I spent just about every weekend with Myranda and Morgan for a very much needed girls night. Myranda’s spirit is so electric and she radiates love and acceptance to everyone she meets. She always finds the best in people and is immediately your biggest cheerleader. It truly has been such a gift to build my relationship with Myranda and see all that she has achieved and succeeded and I am more than honored she has accepted to be my bridesmaid. Myranda, I am so lucky to have you with me through this journey in life and I am thrilled to share the wonderful person you easily and authentically are with all of our friends and family. -Emmy

Jack has known Amanda their entire school life and became best friends during their many years together running cross country. Sharing so many memories they have been able to stay close even while they were living states away from each other. Jack is incredibly grateful for Amanda and Emmy to include him on their special day and he is so happy to welcome Emmy as another great friend. Amanda and Jack have a friendship that no matter how much time passes they always pick up right where they left off. Forever friends 🤍

We have been fortunate to meet Jeanna as Amanda and Donna work closely with her at Bradford Prep. We’ve been in awe of all that she pours into as she is inimitable in her ability of her creativity and organization. The events that she coordinates for the school are so beyond incredible. As we are impressed with all that she does and all we have seen with the successful results she is constantly churning out in everything she does, our decision to include her has been far deeper than her skill set she offers. Jeanna is one of the most kind and loving people we have been blessed to meet. During this process, she has been supportive and compassionate and always so readily available in allowing us to either bounce ideas off of, or listen to us while we’ve felt like we’re drowning in a wedding planning panic. The warmth she provides us with always being prepared to listen and find a solution to any challenge we find, has been comforting and validating, not only in the role of helping plan our wedding but as our dear friend. We are lucky to spend the time planning our most special day to date with her and including her in our lifetime of adventures. We love her and we are unbelievably grateful to share her happy spirit and all of her hard work with you, this year.

Ring Bearer
For our ring bearer we have chosen Brentley. He is Amanda’s nephew and Emiliy’s little boy. We have all loved the opportunity to love on him and watch him grow so much in these past few years. Each time we spend with him we are always cracking up laughing and filling the room with “Awww” because of all the happiness and cuteness this little boy exudes. We’re both so happy to have our little ‘Chichi’ grace the aisle and melt the heart of all of our loved ones.

“Claire is my second and only other niece. I have loved all of the moments I’ve gotten to see her grow up from a little peanut to now. She is truly a princess in my eyes and is so sweet.
