Since the White House has declared Monkeypox a public health emergency today we wanted to provide an update to our guests. At this time, we do not foresee having to modify our plans for the celebration of our wedding. However, we ask that if you or someone you are in close contact with are displaying flu-like symptoms, we would rather you not join us on September 2nd in an attempt to keep our gathering as safe as possible. Please contact Katie or Adam directly if you have further questions.
After a lot of discussion, we have decided to require that all guests and vendors have at least two COVID-19 vaccinations at least two weeks before our wedding (by 8/19/22). This is not a decision that we have taken lightly and certainly don't want people to feel excluded or judged based on their personal decisions surrounding their own health. However, we are confident that ensuring all attendees are vaccinated is the best way for us and our families to ensure the safest gathering possible. We understand that some of our loved ones may not feel comfortable traveling or attending a large wedding due to the COVID-19 pandemic. We want our guests to know that we do not want or expect anyone to sacrifice their sense of safety or comfort to attend our wedding. If you choose not to attend out of concern due to COVID-19 or do not wish to be vaccinated by 9/2/2022, we respect your decision. We are requiring all guests to upload a picture of their vaccination card prior to the event. If you have questions or concerns pertaining to this requirement, please feel free to contact Katie or Adam directly. Thank you in advance for your understanding and for helping us celebrate our marriage, either with us in Chicago or from afar. As guidelines continue to change, we will post updates here. Love to all, Katie and Adam Here is the website to upload proof of vaccination. Please copy and paste into your internet browser to complete. https://form.jotform.com/221117372486152
