Is there a dress code for the wedding?

Question

If I did not book through the Allen-Dove wedding group, what do I need to know?

Answer

There are three important things that you need to do in order to be included with the Allen-Dove group for the wedding, reception, and nightly dining group if you did not book using the Allen-Dove wedding group. 1) Make sure to RSVP on this website as soon as possible so that we know you are coming. 2) Contact Peggy or Sarah with your reservation ID number, cabin number(s), and full names of all the people in your booking. Peggy: pjohnsonagain@gmail.com, (410) 707-8741 Sarah: allendovewedding@gmail.com, (240) 357-8749 3) Make sure your assigned dining time is 7:30 on your booking so that we can add you to the seating area for our group (which is at 7:30).

Question

Will our group be dining together in the main dining room? How will I know where to sit?

Answer

Yes. All rooms reserved using our group block have the later dining time for dinner, which is 7:30 p.m. in the Main Dining Room. There will be a designated section reserved for all of us to be in the same area. When you arrive at 7:30, the staff will escort you to your table within our group.

Question

Do I need to have an internet package to use the Royal Caribbean app onboard?

Answer

No, you do not need an internet package to use the app onboard. Simply download the Royal Caribbean app and connect to your ship’s Guest Wi-Fi onboard to use it for free without an internet package. The easiest way is to connect to the ship's Guest Wi-Fi is via your phone Settings once onboard. Once you’re connected, you can continue to use the app or purchase and activate an internet package. During the cruise, you will be able to message others on the ship through the Royal Caribbean App at no charge (as long as they also have the app).

Question

IMPORTANT FOR AIR TRAVEL: What is a Real ID and why do I need it to fly?

Answer

A Real ID will be required to fly beginning May 7, 2025. You may already have one. But if you don't, please go to this website for details and how to get it: https://www.dhs.gov/real-id/real-id-faqs

Question

Should I arrive in Orlando a day early? Where should I stay?

Answer

We would recommend traveling to Orlando with plenty of buffer time to guarantee boarding the ship on July 7. If you are interested in a hotel the night before the cruise nearby the port, here are a few suggestions (please be aware there are no blocked rooms): 1. TownePlace Suites Cape Canaveral Cocoa Beach (321) 335-6800 (Bride and Groom will be staying here!) 2. Hyatt Place Cape Canaveral (321) 461-9111 3. Hampton Inn and Suites Cape Canaveral Cruise Port (321) 784-0021 4. Holiday Inn Express Cape Canaveral (321) 844-5010 We recommend: -Book your hotel ASAP, as the prices are likely to rise as we approach the cruise date. -Check with your hotel about shuttle service options to the cruise port in the morning.

Question

When is my RSVP due?

Answer

Please submit your RSVP (yes or no) on our website before March 23rd, 2025. To do this, click the RSVP tab on our website and type in your first and last name. (This may be either a nickname or formal name, so try again if no search comes up!) Then, select the names of those invited from your group that will be attending.

Question

Once I book the cruise, does that count as my RSVP?

Answer

We are so glad you booked your room, but please make sure to visit the RSVP section of the website to communicate who will be attending from your party. And if you did not book your room through the Allen-Dove group, please contact Sarah Allen or Peggy Johnson with your reservation ID number, room number, and all guest names so that you will be included in the wedding and dining groups.

Question

When do I have to book the cruise by?

Answer

To get the discounted group rate, you must call and reserve your room by September 16th, 2024. You can still book after that date by calling and using our group number, but you will not get the discounted rate. (see Cruise Booking Instructions)

Question

What deck number will my stateroom be on?

Answer

The majority of the stateroom options reserved in our block will fall on Deck 11 or Deck 12. However, some interior rooms may be located on Deck 9.

Question

Will my room be next to other guests?

Answer

Your stateroom will not necessarily be immediately next door to another wedding guest, but there will likely be other wedding guests nearby on the same deck. If you want to be close to someone who already booked, provide their name and/or room number when you call to book and they will try their best to accommodate that.

Question

Do I have to pay for my room all at once or can I set up a payment plan?

Answer

Upon booking, you are required to put down a $200 deposit. Then, you can choose whether to pay all at once or complete smaller payments, as long as your room is paid in full before April 23rd, 2025. Please call Royal Caribbean at 1-800-465-3595 option 5 to make payments or confirm your payment plan details. For this wedding group, payments may only be made by calling the 800 number. Accepted forms of payment are debit and credit cards.

Question

Can I get a room by myself?

Answer

Yes, you can reserve a room just for yourself, but the price for the room will only go down about $105 from the group rate for 2 people.
