George and Kelsey have known each other their entire lives. It all began when Victoria Kindel introduced Keith Allen, Kelsey's father, to Clifford Depew, George's father, in anatomy lab at the University of Kansas. From there they were both married back to back as well as in each other's wedding party's. As young families the Allen, Depew, and Kindel’s would often get together in the summers. Fast forward to November 23rd, 2017 when George and Kelsey both swiped right on a dating application confirming their mutual attraction to each other. Since then their love has blossomed into the beautiful love story you see today.

George made his big move when Alison and Kelsey both conveniently attended a friend's bridal shower. To set the scene, George enlisted the help of Kelsey's two sisters, cousin, and best friend Sarah; they helped George set up a surprise proposal at Kelsey's apartment involving flowers, candles, balloons, and Kelsey's favorite date night meal. When Kelsey arrived she was awestruck to find George waiting outside dressed in his finest. He led her to her apartment where she discovered her living room had been completely transformed. George then proceeded to get down on one knee to ask Kelsey Elizabeth Allen the ultimate question of being his bride. She happily accepted, then enjoyed their favorite meal in private together to celebrate the special moment before sharing the exciting news with their family and friends. George took Kelsey’s breath away once again upon discovering a small surprise party he had orchestrated, where they were surrounded by their closest family and friends to continue the ongoing celebration!
