Travel Note
Since the number of guests for our wedding is small we are unable to block rooms. If you are looking for Vegas lodging we suggest starting your search at and beyond the south-end of the Las Vegas Strip (S Las Vegas Blvd.) near the airport. The residence where the wedding will be held is a few minutes south of the McCarran International Airport. We have listed below a few accommodations near the residence.
Flight
Currently, Southwest Airlines has very inexpensive flights to Vegas from all over the United States. Check their prices before comparing to your normal airline. Also, factor in the cost savings with Southwest in baggage fees (Southwest 1st and 2nd checked luggage and 1st and 2nd carry-on luggage is free for a total of 4 free bags!).
Hotel
A hotel a little further north than the others that (as of this listing) is charging $124 per night Oct. 16-18, 2020
Hotel
Rated "Very Good" on Hotels.com, this hotel is very close to our venue (and the airport) and is charging $164/night for the days Oct. 16-18.
Hotel
An absolutely stunning hotel and one of the best MGM properties. I (Allen) have stayed here in a king suite and it was probably the nicest room I've experienced in Vegas to date. Hotels.com ranks this stay as "Fabulous." The King Suite is 725sqft. and is currently $194/night for Oct. 16-18, 2020.
House Or Rental
Another option is to choose to stay in an AirBnb. The advantage is that you are more likely to find accommodations that include easier parking (if you rent a car) and avoids possible crowds of people on streets and near/in hotels. If you are looking to avoid crowds, make your own food at "home" and relax in a neighborhood then choosing an AirBnb might be the right choice.
