She wakes up everyday eager to know God more and has raised me to put God first in everything I do. She has guided me through my life and has always been someone I can lean on. She is also the life of the party and always makes my family laugh when we are together. She is my favorite person to have a good time with, because she gets me like no one else.

My first example of love and marriage were my parents. I can remember telling my mom I was going to marry her when I was a boy and she would just laugh and say “I’m married to your dad”. I didn’t mind though, because he was such a good man. I’ve seen their love blossom throughout the years with the consistency and the patience that they’ve shown each other. It fostered in me a hope that true love is possible.

We first met after his cousin Moe got his hand stuck trying to ‘barrow’ some coca cola cans from the pool vending machine at 222 N Hiawassee Oaks apartments.. I later noticed we were in the same 5th grade class with Mr Dallas, and as you can imagine we became instant friends. Since then we’ve had tons of adventures, ups and downs, but one constant… brotherly love. I could add a book to this section so if you're curious just ask, hehe.

The chemistry these two have has made a difference in the way I look at married life, teamwork and communication. Lynda is a curious bundle of joy and Rey is a big hearted, somewhat cautious, thoughtful man. The two just work. I'm blessed to not only have Rey in my corner but also in my family. Love you bro.

While traveling for work I visited Greenbriar Church in Albany, GA and encountered a group of faithful believers. During a bible study for ‘new comers’ I had the privilege of hearing Paul’s testimony of God’s faithfulness in his life. Afterwards, I was able to connect with this gentle-giant and we’ve been good friends ever since. We have counted on each other for advice, prayer and holding each other accountable. I thank God for bringing him into my life, especially now as I navigate the journey of marriage. Love you brother!

Kinsley is my niece and the most adorable child. She’s smart, sassy, and adventurous. She talks like she’s a grown adult which blows my mind how smart she is. I cherish every moment spent with her! She has a nurturing heart and is extremely friendly and makes friends wherever she goes.
