How we met

Allen and I met through his cousin DJ. We always hung out together as a group and slowly became friends. We kept planning to meet each other for concerts, going to Knotts Berry Farm, and walking around the beach. He would always call or text me when he was hungry, hahaha. We just wanted to be each other's best friends. As matter of fact, we were each other's wingman, but I guess we broke the rules and fell for each other, lol. The first time I met Clarissa was when she came to the house to see DJ. We just hit it off and became friends, which then turned into a relationship, and then blossomed into love.

The Proposal

Here we are in the middle of a week long vacation to Disney World with his whole family, 35 of us total. The family met up in the Magic Kingdom to watch the fireworks. Allen was getting anxious about finding a good spot for the the fireworks. I could feel his hands were super clammy and he was shaking a little bit. I honestly thought he wasn't feeling well or maybe he was hungry (lol). We finally found a spot and he kept telling me how much he loved me and how beautiful I looked tonight. I just enjoyed the fireworks and the pure happiness on Allen's face. Afterwards, the family got ready for "couples" photos in front of the castle, and of course we were the first one! I felt like I definitely wasn't ready, and then all of a sudden Allen whispered quietly, "you know I love you right? And I want to spend the rest of my life with you." Meanwhile I'm over here tryn'ta get a good angle for our pic and all of a sudden he drops down on one knee and I start to ugly cry! Little did I know that he had planned this for months and the whole family was in on it and where able to keep it a secret! I had planned to ask her to marry me when we started planning our family vacation, a year in advance. So everyone knew except her. On the day it came time to pop the the big question, I started to get a little nervous. My hands began to sweat. I wanted to have the perfect setting for her. During the fireworks show I could only look at her, and how beautiful she was. After the fireworks I wanted to find a spot in front of the castle. When we got there, my mom and family said to do couples pictures and told us to go first. At first, I wanted to do this big, loud announcement, but when it came down to it, all I wanted to do was tell her, the woman I love, that I love her and I wanted to spend the rest of my life with her. Then I got down on one knee and asked her to marry me.
