FAQs

Question

Why Burwood?

Answer

Anne and Allen met during Covid and although everything was shut down, they shared a growler of Burwood's Fang IPA on Anne's deck--their first date. Since then, Burwood is their go-to spot and Jennifer, Dave, and the whole Burwood crew are like family. It seemed like the perfect place, plus it makes for a fun party!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Anne has to wear a dress, but Allen is wearing golf pants and his favorite hoodie. It's a casual wedding.

Question

Do I have to drink beer?

Answer

No--there are lots of options! Burwood makes their own root beer, non-alcoholic hop water, and seltzer which are all on tap. Becky Stanley is providing wine for the reception, and we'll also have lots of bottled water. But we recommend you sample Dave's extensive beer list--he's the best brewer around!

Question

How do I get home safely if I've been drinking?

Answer

We have Wa-Hi graduates--former students and players--that are going to be at the wedding and available as designated drivers. We've compensated them for their time, but as they are all starting college in the fall, tips are welcome. If you want to tip two of them, they can drive your car home as well. This service is only available for the Walla Walla area, not Waitsburg (sorry!).

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

As we are both child free, we're keeping the wedding that way too.

Question

What's on the menu for dinner?

Answer

WTF Food Truck will be catering the wedding. People can order from the menu after the ceremony. A vegetarian option will be available.
