What started out as a birthday celebration for a mutual friend of ours turned into the beginning of a new love story. To my loved ones that know me, y'all know that your girl is not the friendliest *wink wink* , however it was something about him that drew me in closer, as the evening went on we laughed, we danced, and all around just enjoyed each others company. Definitely an instant connection you would've thought that we had known one another well over the two hour time period of us being introduced. We exchanged numbers, however at the time I was unaware of God's plan for us so I decided to make the Lord laugh by following my own plan, which was to put my future husband in the friendzone ...CRAZY right I know !!! Now as a friend she had me ALL the way messed up but for the time being I would let her have it . I decided to let things run their course and just be the man she was too stubborn to admit she needed. We spoke often almost everyday, and as the time went on we realized just how compatible we were for each other but my fiance being the strong minded individual that she is took her precious time to acknowledge it. I knew I had to do something out of the ordinary to get out of the friendzone and into her heart where I belonged, as her birthday approached I knew that would be the perfect time to show up and show out! Boy did he ever I'm talking about pulling out all the stops sparing no exspense to make little ole me feel special, and it was in that moment that I knew I wanted to be more than just friends. He put so much thought and effort towards the little details which mattered the most because it showed that he was actually listening to me when I spoke to him.
