Hotel Ketchum is another great option for hotels, centrally located in Ketchum within walking distance to downtown restaurants, activities, and bars and close to our favorite after-ski bar, Grumpy's! Flights

We suggest flying into Sun Valley, the airport is the Friedman Memorial Airport (SUN) in Hailey, ID. They have non-stop flights from Seattle, Los Angeles, San Fransisco, Denver, Salt Lake City, and Chicago. It has most major airlines and is a 20 minute drive to Sun Valley. The website below has some more details about best ways to get here, but here are some other options: Boise International Airport (BOI) - 2.5 hour drive to Sun Valley, the most affordable and flexible option Magic Valley Regional Airport (TWF) - 1.5 hour drive to Sun Valley, flights connect from Salt Lake City

Although Sun Valley is very walkable, we do suggest renting a car as it is about 20 minutes from the airport. If you stay at certain hotels they have complimentary shuttle services to and from the airport. There are very few Ubers and Taxis so we suggest either renting a car or coordinating your travel in advance. Getting Around

If you are not staying at a hotel, you should familiarize yourself with the local FREE bus service, Mountain Rides, which runs every 15-30 minutes from 7:30 am to 2:00 am and drops passengers at the base lodges and in downtown Ketchum. There are very few Ubers so if you are staying outside of downtown Ketchum without a car or far from a shuttle stop, please use one of the Taxi services or rental cars.
