I have known Eleana my whole life. We have spent countless hours together and sometimes days upon days with each other. Eleana has been there for me through first loves, heartbreaks, successes, failures, trying and amazing times. Now she will be there with me to witness one of the greatest days of my life.

I have known Hope since we first met in preschool. Since then, we were in every single class together until high school graduation. We started our first jobs together, spent every summer and weekend together, and even made a gang together with Eleana. I was by Hope's side on her wedding day, and now I can't wait for her to be with me on my wedding day.

I met Des my junior year of college and we were inseparable. She has seen me at my highest and at my lowest. From stealing beer off tables at parties to her standing with me on my wedding day, she has been my ride or die since the day I met her.

My future sister in law. I don't think I have felt so comfortable around someone so quickly as I did with Bri. She radiates this positive energy you just want to absorb and never let it go. Every time I am with her, my cheeks hurt from laughing and I feel my life span get longer. She is a ray of sunshine, and because of that I am so happy and thrilled to have her as my sister.

My future sister in law. The very first time I met Pharibee I knew I wanted to be close to her and I had to make her like me. We clicked instantly and I haven't left her side since. She makes me feel so welcomed and belonged, and like we've been friends forever. She lights up the darkest of rooms and can make anyone smile. I am so excited to be her sister.

Wilfredo is someone whom people just gravitate towards. With his charisma he definitely just becomes someone who you like. Back in high school once we started talking, it just felt like we knew each other our entire lives and became brothers almost immediately. Funny enough, years later, we found out we were both in the same hospital at the same time when we were born. We always made the joke that we passed each other as babies and high fived one another as we passed the other. Both our personalities were quite similar, so we tended to butt heads a lot but never did that break our strong friendship. He was the one who pushed me to become better as a person, by waking me up to go to the gym in the mornings when all I wanted to do was sleep and even asking to join the navy when things fell through with another branch of service. Once again, he had me wanting to stay alongside him and become a better person and push myself to something greater. Needless to say, without Wilfredo in my life it feels like I would have been wandering around aimlessly to find who I was. Thanks to him I've achieved greater things in my life and obtained a brother for life.

Jesse is another person who I got to grow alongside through the awkward years of high school. It was a time of unknowns and body odors that you just can't forget, but on that first day sitting next to someone, you never knew if they would be your bully or best friend. Jesse of course was the ladder. We ended up spending tons of nights playing Zombies, Halo, Minecraft, and movie marathons. I'm always one to quote those movies and Jesse was the first one to get it and add his quote in too. Besides our late nights indoors, he taught me new things and showed me another side of me that appreciated the outdoors more. Playing airsoft, Boy Scouts, hiking, shooting guns. I was quite introverted and not always wanting to do things outside of the comfort of what I already knew. This created a brother bond that shows not just blood makes family. I am definitely glad he took me out of my Comfort zone (pun intended) and showed me this awesome side of the world I had once tried to shy from.

Aadyn is that guy in the group that everyone loves; he was one of the first friends I had ever had. Growing up in a small town, there weren't many guys my age. Every Sunday when I went to church, Aayden and I were always wanting to sit next to one another. We traded cards, played games, and shared lots of interests. Months went by and we began to hang out more and more, having guy nights and spending summers together. We share lots of memories that I'm glad to have gotten to spend with him. He is someone who I want next to me through my life and as I move into this next part, I'm glad to have him be part of this moment as well.

Taking leaps of faith into parts of your life where you have no idea what to expect and know no one is nerve racking. Being new in the Navy is just like starting at a new school, but I'm glad to say that Tyler was a guy who accepted my weirdness and gave it right back to me. When I turned 21, he was the one to give me awesome memories and he was someone I knew I could count on through all the craziness and unknown at that time of my life. Even as our distance grew when I left the Navy and he stayed in, our friendship never dwindled. I'm glad to have him see me through another time in my life where I don't know what to expect next.

This Carmel hunk of a man is the literal definition of an honorable gentleman. Meeting so many people and having so many interactions with people all felt fake and like talking with a wall. Rico, however, is someone who gives you a response that leaves you thinking and is someone who you truly feels like he is listening. Being around him made you realize just how much you wanted to grow, and so I strived to become better myself. The time spent on a ship makes you go crazy, but he was one that kept me grounded. I loved that we spent tons of time playing games in our berthing (room where you sleep). I'll never forget playing Smash Bros together. On top off being just an amazing person he is a boss at Smash Bros, so if you need someone to kick your butt in that, then he's the man to play. I'm thankful that despite all the things we've done and seen, we still are friends.
Mark Opperman

With his Viking like presence, he stood out as a strong yet kind person. One who made you smile and feel safe. Through our first interactions I felt this instant brotherly bond, one which soon made us friends. I found many similarities with Mark: videogames, shows, and even our strong stubbornness. At times, we tested one another; however, never did it test our friendship. Seeing just how strong he was, both willed and physically, he helped me stay in shape and with that, helped me push myself to be better at everything we did. I even got to meet his wife (at the time was his girlfriend) who was just as sweet. Seeing him find the kind of person he wanted to be with who was supportive through his ups and downs, I knew that if the day came, I wanted to find that same connection they did. Though I wasn't able to be there on their special day, I'm glad to have him alongside me for Alleighcia and I's.
