AIRPORTS
Lake Orta is easy to reach from several northern Italian airports. Best airports: Milan Malpensa (MXP): Closest and most convenient, about 50 minutes from the Lake. Milan Linate (LIN): About 1 hour 20 minutes away. Both offer nonstop or one-stop flights from many U.S. cities. Other airport options: Turin (TRN) ~1.5 hours away Bergamo (BGY) ~2 hours away
