We're tying the knot!

Joey and I first met at our mutual friend's gym, Grit22 Performance Gym. Joey used to start his workout at 4:30am and I started mine at 5:30am, so we were always passing each other. I always admired how strong and funny he was (especially during the buyouts) and we remained friends until 2021!

Joey had told Allee about a month in advance that they were going to be doing family photos at his parents' house the week of Thanksgiving. Joey had worked with his family to do a trial run of the proposal to make sure everything was perfect. Joey led Allee into the woods for a walk (something they love to do together) to a spot with fairy light wrapped trees, a white cloth on the ground with a heart made out of little hearts, and Joy of My Life playing in the background. Joey's dad took pictures in the hunting blind while his sisters hid and took pictures at different angles. He got down on one knee, and the rest is history!
