We both met at PLNU in the dorms! We transferred into the same building after our sophomore year of college. We began hanging out, going on adventures and enjoying the college lifestyle. Garret made the first move and asked Emily out to her favourite restaurant. We sat and talked for hours about our families, friends and aspirations. The rest was history!

Garret took Emily to the beach for a surprise proposal. It was in January and a rainstorm was hours away from landfall in San Diego. Luckily, Garret had great help planning this event from Emily's friends and he pulled it off! She was completely surprised and Garret proposed on the sand in Pacific Beach.
