Can I bring a guest?

Answer

Yes. You may bring a guest but ensure they are listed on the RSVP when you send it back.

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

YES! However, we would like to encourage/remind you to bring cash to tip our bartenders. They will be working hard.

Is there parking at Historic Shady Lane?

Answer

Yes. There is parking at Historic Shady Lane. However, if you would happen to leave your vehicle overnight it must be removed from the property by 09:00 a.m. Sunday, September 12th. Failure to remove your vehicle will result with it being towed, as there is another wedding on Sunday.

If I’m staying, when should I book a a room at one of the hotel?

Answer

ASAP! We have rooms reserved for Friday, September 10th and Saturday, September 11th, at Tru by Hilton, York. However, we don’t know what will be available if our reserved rooms become occupied. To get the discount be sure to book by August 11, 2021.

What time is check-in at the hotel?

Answer

Check-In at Tru by Hilton is 3 pm. You may be able to check in early but we cannot promise your room will be ready.

What time does the shuttle bus depart from the hotel?

Answer

Departure time for the bus service from Tru by Hilton will be 3:30 pm

Can I take photographs or videos during the ceremony?

Answer

No. We will be having an unplugged ceremony, which means no phones out, no photographs, and no videos should be taken by our guests during the ceremony. We know this may be difficult but we promise the ceremony will be over quickly and the photo taking can begin.

What time does the shuttle bus depart Historic Shady Lane to back to the hotel?

Answer

There will be two departure times from Historic Shady Lane to the Tru by Hilton. First departure will be at 7 pm Final departure will be 10:30 pm

What if i booked a room at Homewood Suites?

Answer

Please tell Dan or Krista right away! Based on all information provided no one has booked at Homewood Suites and they have came under new management. Thus it was resulted with the contract with them to be terminated.
