We recommend that guests fly to Albuquerque International Sunport (ABQ) and then either rent a car or schedule a shuttle to make the 2.5 hour drive to Taos.
It is in San Cristobal, located 11 miles north from Taos, NM. The address is 1530 and 1528 Old State Road 3 San Cristobal, NM 87564. Phone: 575.776.3971 If you need to drive to Taos Goji, here are the directions. From the south: Take Route 522 north (left if coming from the bridge). You will start at mile marker 0. At mile marker 10 you will see a large green sign on the right for “San Cristobal”. Turn right. 1/2 mile down the road splits – stay left. Another 1/2 mile and you will pass a stop sign on your left with a small green road sign that says “Carlitos Way”. Pass it, and the Taos Goji Farm is on your left. There is a hand painted sign out front that says “Eco Lodge”.
Southwest and desert themed attire is encouraged! Feel free to bust out your boots, hats, and bolos. The ceremony will take place in a field and the reception will be held in a barn. The ceremony site is approximately a quarter mile walk down a dirt path. Please wear comfortable shoes as walking around the property can be a challenge to navigate and the roads are not paved. Average temperatures in August are in the 80s during the day and can drop into the 50s at night. There is also a chance for rain in the afternoon. The wedding will commence rain or shine. We will also be dancing and having a campfire. Please take this into consideration when choosing your attire.
No, cell phone service is very spotty in San Cristobal. There is limited wifi for the cabins on the property, we will be able to receive imessages, and the landline phone number is 575.776.3971 for urgent questions.
There are very few uber/lyft drivers in Taos, so please do not make that be your primary plan to come and go from the wedding. If you plan on drinking, please consider staying at the ranch the night of the wedding.
There are several options for lodging in the Taos area. Airbnb rentals are a great option if you would like to stay with a group of friends. Cabins, glamping tipis, camping at Taos Goji is another option. Bathroom, showers and cooking areas will be provided for campers. Please let us know if you prefer this option ASAP. Several hotels have been listed on the travel page. These are located near the historic Taos Plaza. These by no means are the only hotel options in Taos, so if these hotels don’t work for you, a quick google search will bring up more locations. Because our wedding is during a peak tourists month in Taos, we recommend booking your accommodations early.
Please RSVP by May 31st, 2020. You can RSVP by contacting us or on our website.
