We're getting married!

We met at church in the spring of 2021, the only two high school seniors that year, who also happened to be considering the same college. Our story has turned out differently than either of us expected, but it has turned out to be a much better, sweeter story — and the Author of our story is an infinitely good writer. We are both looking forward to this new, exciting, covenantal step in our lives, and for whatever the Lord has planned for us in the years to come.

Well… we can’t say that Allayah didn’t know what was coming… but somehow the actual proposal still managed to be a surprise. On a lovely spring day, about 1 year after we first met, Micah got down on one knee — and the rest is history.
