ARE CHILDREN INVITED?

Answer

While we adore your little ones, our wedding will be for adults only. We hope you'll take this as a chance to unwind, relax, and enjoy a special night out with us. Thank you for making arrangements in advance so you can join us in celebrating!

CAN I BRING A DATE?

Answer

All invited guests will be listed on the formal invitation, not the save the dates. If your invitation is addressed to you "and date", you are welcome to bring a date. Otherwise, we kindly ask you to attend unaccompanied. If you have any questions regarding a plus one before the formal invitations are sent out, please reach out to Katie. We thank you for understanding!

WHAT IS THE DRESS CODE?

Answer

The dress code is formal attire. We kindly ask that guests avoid wearing any shade of white, including ivory, cream, champagne, or eggshell, as these are traditionally reserved for the bride. However, classic white dress shirts for men and subtle white accents (like in ties, pocket squares, or patterns) are absolutely fine. Thank you!

WHERE DO I PARK?

Answer

Parking at the venue is free of charge! There is a large lot in front of the venue, so feel free to park in any available spot!

WHAT TIME SHOULD I ARRIVE?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 4 pm. Please arrive at least 15-20 minutes prior to the ceremony to allow time for parking and finding your seat.

IF IM STAYING AT THE HOTEL, WILL TRANSPORTATION BE PROVIDED?

Answer

If you’re staying at the Fairfield Inn, where we’ve reserved a block of rooms, a complimentary shuttle will be available to take you to and from the venue! The shuttle is a smaller van with seating for 14 guests, so it will be making multiple trips throughout the day. Because of this, we kindly ask that you plan to arrive at the hotel a bit earlier than you'd think to ensure you can catch a ride to the ceremony on time. Don’t worry—there will be plenty of trips scheduled to accommodate everyone comfortably. After the reception, the shuttle will continue running and make several return trips to the hotel throughout the night. So if you’re ready to head out early (or stay until the very end!), a ride will be available for you.

CAN I TAKE PICTURES DURING THE CEREMONY OR RECEPTION?

Answer

We’re having an unplugged ceremony, which means we kindly ask that all phones be silenced and put away once the ceremony begins. We’d love for everyone to be fully present in the moment with us, and this also allows our photographer to capture the best possible photos—don’t worry, we’ll be sharing them with you afterward! After the ceremony, feel free to take as many photos as you'd like, and we’d love for you to share them with us too!

WHAT IS THE VENUE LIKE?

Answer

Our ceremony will be held outdoors on a paved surface, so no need to worry about walking through grass or sinking heels! The setting is a beautiful golf course, so you may see golfers nearby—we kindly ask that everyone be mindful and respectful of the space. Following the ceremony, cocktail hour and the reception will take place both indoors and on the outdoor patio, giving guests plenty of room to mingle and enjoy the scenery.
