Allan and Maggie first met over 10 years ago, as middle school students in band class. Nowadays, Allan loves to tell everyone how Maggie relentlessly teased him back then; or maybe she just had a crush. Isn't that what they say? If someone teases you, it's because they like you! In January 2013, Maggie moved to Ashburn, Virginia, and Allan continued his high school years in Fredericksburg. Flash forward to Summer 2023, Maggie gets a notification on Hinge from Allan. She thinks to herself, "Wait, Allan Allan? He's so cute!". From there, the rest was history. Shortly after reconnecting, Allan got orders to move to Augusta, Georgia. They both knew they had something special, and decided to pursue a long distance relationship with each other. Allan proposed to Maggie in Savannah, Georgia, in Spring 2024. From there, the plans were set in motion for wedding planning and for Maggie's big move to Georgia to live with Allan. It's crazy to think that two kids in band class would wind up back together after 10+ years apart. The universe had bigger plans for Maggie and Allan than they thought. An invisible string connected them through high school, college, and military deployments to bring them together at exactly the right moment.
