Allan and Kat first crossed paths at a friend’s birthday hangout at Ballast Point in Long Beach. What started as casual small talk quickly blossomed into late-night chats on Facebook Messenger. Before they knew it, those conversations quickly became more and more frequent. Seizing the moment, Allan asked Kat out to hang out before she left for her week-long family cruise. With the clock ticking, he made sure to lock in their first date before she sailed away. That "unofficial" first date quickly turned into an unforgettable OC adventure—complete with a giant burrito the size of Kat's arm from Cali Tacos, refreshing lemonade from Main Squeeze, and a trip to Aquarium of the Pacific. Their first big milestone came on September 25, 2018. While casually watching TV at Allan’s house, Allan officially asked Kat to be his girlfriend. Since then, their journey has been filled with countless adventures and memories—Seattle, Portland, Hawaii, New York, and so many more places that have become part of their story. It wasn’t until spring 2024 that they finally took their first international trip together—to Japan! They had been planning the trip for a long time, and as most of you already know, it was full of surprises—especially for Kat! On April 30, the day before Allan’s birthday, he completely caught Kat off guard by popping the question at Okochi Sanso Garden in Kyoto. With a huge grin and a beautiful ring, Allan asked, and of course, Kat said yes! Now, they're counting down to their next big adventure: saying “I do” on November 15, 2025. Since their first date kicked off in OC, it feels fitting to return there to celebrate their wedding! It has been a wild and wonderful ride so far, and Kat and Allan can’t wait to celebrate this new chapter with all of you!
