First Date

September 2018

We met online and had been talking for a while when Natasha randomly suggested we go out and get ice cream. UDairy is Natasha's favorite spot and was appalled when Adam said he had never gone even though he grew up locally. She couldn't have that and convinced him that it's never to cold for ice cream. Post ice cream we ended up walking around campus and playing Pokemon Go (which shouldn't surprise anyone) and from that point on it was history.

The Proposal

March 15, 2020

Natasha's POV: It was seemingly a normal weekend like any other filled with of our regular D & D game which normally includes a weekend visit from my brother Ken. Originally our Sunday plans included a trip to one of our favorite haunts, Longwood Gardens but they temporarily closed so instead Adam suggested we go get ice cream at UDairy. Well in my mind, we never go with just us so of course both dogs had to come for their share of vanilla ice cream. We eventually all made it and ate our share when Adam suggested a walk out back by their mini botanical garden. We've previously spent time exploring the area and it was where we had photos taken the previous summer of the three of us, (Adam, Azlee and I). Well next thing I knew Adam was on one knee and believe it or not I had no clue. He had actually managed to surprise me and for months had me convinced that he had yet to get a ring. (Spoiler: He had been planning for 4 months.) In true Natasha fashion the first words out of my mouth was "Are you messing with me? Wait, what, how?" and quite quickly after that it was followed up with a "Yes, of course I will" and a full afternoon of realizing how deep his secret planning went.
