Is the wedding outdoors?

Answer

Yes! The ceremony, cocktail hour and reception will be taking place outdoors at the historical Hemingway Home. There will be locations throughout the property that are air conditioned if you need a reprieve from the beautiful Florida Keys breeze.

What is the dress code?

Answer

If you are able to attend the Welcome Party on 12/5/2025, dress to impress- think stylish and festive cocktail attire. As for our wedding on 12/6/2025, we would love to see our family and friends get dressed up with us! We are requesting semi-formal dress code for our wedding evening. Please do not wear jeans or khaki pants and no white! Also remember- the ceremony and reception are taking place outside, so please keep the setting in mind when choosing your footwear!

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

There is no available parking at the venue. We recommend staying at a hotel, AirBnB, or VRBO close to the venue.

Do I need a car in Key West?

Answer

In general, you do not need a car while in Key West. Please refer to the 'Travel' section for further information.

What time should I arrive to the venue?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 6PM, please plan to arrive to the Hemingway Home no later than 5:45PM.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Due to the limited size capacity at the Hemingway Home, we are only able to accommodate guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one, there will be a place to share who your plus one will be when you RSVP.

Are children invited to the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Due to limited space at our venue, children are not invited to the ceremony or reception. We hope that you use this night as a date night as we are keeping the occasion adult only. We understand that you may be traveling with little ones down to Key West.
