Please RSVP by Sunday, March 13 so we can provide accurate numbers to the venue. You can either RSVP via this website or generally contact us to let us know.
The ceremony will be held at around 3.00pm, so please arrive any time after 2.30pm.
Cocktail attire. Please try to avoid skinny heels or stilettos as we'll be spending a lot of time on wooden boards (block heels and wedges are fine). Nautical attire is also always appreciated!
If we've included a guest on your invitation, they are of course welcome to attend! If not, feel free to contact us and we'll do our best to include as many people as possible.
We don't have a specific hotel for guests to stay in, but the venues are close to the Melbourne CBD so there are plenty of hotels nearby!
The reception includes drinks and hors d'oeuvres. Vegetarians and vegans will be well catered for, but if you have another dietary requirement please let us know when you RSVP and we'll do our best to accommodate you.
The best gift we could ask for is your company on our wedding day, so please don't feel obligated to bring a gift! We also have everything we need for our household after having lived together for the last seven years. If you would like to give a gift, contributions to our honeymoon would be greatly appreciated! We will have a wishing well on the day.
We ask that anyone attending the wedding is double vaccinated as this is a requirement of the venues. The venues base their requirements on the legislation in place at the time so it's possible that by the date of the wedding a booster will be required- we will keep you posted. If you have a medical exemption or are bringing children please let us know.
We have tried to make the wedding as Covid-safe as possible- the ceremony will be entirely outside, and the reception will be in an open-air space (pending weather). We are also asking that all attendees be fully vaccinated and not to attend if they are feeling unwell. However, we completely understand if anyone doesn't feel comfortable attending an event at this stage! We don't want the day to be stressful for anyone, so absolutely no issue if you can't make it- please just let us know so we can plan for numbers. Alternatively there's always the option to attend only the ceremony, as it will be easier to socially distance on board the Polly Woodside. We are also going to arrange a livestream of the ceremony and key parts of the reception for anyone who would like to watch from home.
