When you know, you know. Five words made into one simple statement- yet something that has so much meaning to us. The road before finding each other wasn’t easy. There were many tests, trials, and bumps along the way. But at the right time, both holding God close to our hearts, even when it felt really hard to, that faith we held on to brought us to find each other. Because of a mutual friend and Aliza’s cousin (We know you’re reading this lol) Spencer somehow made his way into Aliza’s heart with that simple text, “Hey Aliza, it’s Spence lol”. If you know, you know. From our texts and FaceTime calls, we felt like we had known each other forever. We both had never felt a love before that was so easy, natural, meant to be, and most of all, from God. When you know, you know. After about a month of the long distance calls and FaceTimes, Spencer flew out to Michigan to meet Aliza and her family. Everything from then on changed our lives forever, in the very best way. Thank you to all our friends and family in San Diego and Michigan for embracing our relationship and being with us every step along the way. We can’t wait to start our lives together for the rest of our days <3
